When does an auction end?
Each auction has a date and countdown time specified. When the stated time has passed, bidding will continue until no bids have been placed for at least 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
Keep in mind that your computer connection or browser may work slowly. This means that it may take a while before your bids are registered. Therefore, do not submit your bids at the last minute if you want to make sure that the bids are registered with us before the countdown ends. If you do not want to worry about this, we recommend that you place an Autobid.
Am I bound to my bid?
Yes. Even if your bid is below the seller's reservation price, they may choose to accept your bid. If you want to remove a bid, please contact us before the auction ends and we will adjust this. We can remove your bid up until 15 minutes before the start of the countdown. Contact us by phone +46 10-165 14 00 or by e-mail: info@kvdpro.com

How does Autobid work?
Autobid takes care of the bidding for you. You register the highest price you'd be willing to pay for a specific object and click “Place Autobid”. Once the maximum amount is registered, our system places your bid over the leading bid until it reaches your specified maximum amount. Our system raises your bid with the lowest possible raise. The lowest possibleraise can be found on the respective objects. The lowest possible raise also applies when you place manual bids. The highest amount of your autobid is only visible to you as a bidder and can not be seen by other bidders. If your maximum amount is reached by another bidder, you will be notified via email.
Note that if two bids are placed at the same bid level and nobody chooses to raise their bid, the bidder who has placed his bid first will win the auction.
Can I be notified if anyone places a higher bid than mine?
Yes. When you place your bid, a box appears with the text "Notify me by SMS if I am overbidden". If you tick it you will receive a text message to your registered phone number when someone bids over you. Note that no SMS is sent after an auction begins to count down. This is because it takes a little while for an SMS to arrive and by then the auction might already have ended. If you want to make sure you do not miss the bidding, we recommend using our Autobid feature.
What happens if I win an auction that does not reach the reservation price?
We will contact you after the auction ends and tell you the reservation price, and intermediate the final price between you and the seller. If you and the seller don’t agree about a final price, the item will be auctioned again.
