KVD tests all objects sold via kvdpro.com. They undergo what is known as KVD testing, which is carried out in different ways depending on what type of object is being tested. This test is standardised and is carried out by professional technicians. This allows us to remain an independent party between the buyer and the seller.
Depending on what type of object is being reviewed, the test includes the engine, gearbox, brakes, interior, tyres, equipment and tools. The technician checks the object's inspection report, service history documentation and manuals to make sure they are correct. We review and verify the odometer or tachometer readings for the vehicle or machine and document any errors and defects.
Documentation from the test is displayed openly in the object description so that bidders feel secure in the knowledge that they have received all the information on the condition of the vehicle machine on which they are bidding.
